About the Event
OIMAF is a grassroots movement that originated around a kitchen table in recognition of a lack of celebration surrounding the Indigenous narrative and a distinct need for cultural revitalization. With the emergence of Indigenous artists into the mainstream entertainment arena, the hunger for cultural exposure is being exponentially galvanized. The demand for Indigenous celebration has never been more paramount than in this era of reconciliation.
The purpose of the event is to showcase the music, art, history and culture of a diversity of First Nations people.
